Bringing you the very latest on SDN and NFV developments across the world

Welcome to the February newsletter from SDN World News! Guiding you through the latest developments in the world of SDN, we are pleased to bring together the best of the resources we’ve been watching over the month, so you can keep in touch with SDN progress the easy way.Storage

Mergers and acquisitions are a prominent theme in the SDN market at the moment, as established vendors wrestle to become leaders in the SDN and network virtualisation space by buying up newer SDN start-ups.

This month, this trend is continuing, with F5’s acquisition of LineRate Systems and Intel’s investment in Big Switch Networks being the latest big talking points. Perhaps it is too early to tell who the definitive market leaders will become, but with so much market movement and competition in the air, the SDN and network virtualisation industry continues to surge forward looking at an incredibly fast pace.

So what do you think about the direction in which network virtualisation is heading? Drop us a line and let us know! You can keep in touch with us on Twitter @SDNWORLD or follow our blog, www.sdnworldnews.com.
